The St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Programme is the world’s oldest citizenship programme of its kind. The twin island state of St. Kitts and Nevis is a member of the British Commonwealth and maintains membership in various regional and international organizations including the United Nations. The St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Programme enables dependant family members to be included and there are no residency requirements.

Investment Value
There are a number of investment options under the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Programme. Investors can make a non-refundable contribution to the Government’s Sustainable Island State Contribution (SISC), starting from US$250,000 for the main applicant. There is also the option to invest in real estate. Investors may invest in government approved real estate developments such as hotels, villas, and resorts for a minimum of US$400,000. Alternatively, investments can be made in private apartments for a minimum of US$400,000 or in a private single family home for a minimum of US$800,000. Real estate investments can be sold after the mandatory seven year holding period.

Payment of non-refundable due diligence and processing fees. $10,000 for main applicant and an additional $7,500 for every dependant over 16 years of age
WITHIN 120 DAYS
- Application is reviewed by the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) and due diligence checks are carried out. Main applicants are required to attend an interview by the CIU. Dependants over 16 may also be required to do an interview. Interviews may be virtual or in person.
In Principle Approval Issued
4 WEEKS
- Chosen investment is paid and finalised
- In case of real estate investments and the public benefit option, Government fees need to be settled.
Naturalisation Certificate is issued
Passport is issued
Passports are required to be collected in person in St Kitts and Nevis or at a diplomatic mission abroad.
